Kid and Family-Friendly Outdoor Activities at Kreher Preserve

Summer is heating up! And we are not just talking about the weather. One of the benefits of living in one of our homes in Auburn AL is that you can take full advantage of living near the Kreher Preserve and Nature Center and all that it has to offer. Check out these kid and family-friendly events in July.
- Summer Ecology Camps – Weeklong camps tailored to students going into the first through seventh grades. Attendees will have nature-based lessons discussing an array of tips, go on hikes, and play on the playground. These camps are five days long starting the week of July 6th to the week of July 27th. - Science on Saturday’s – If you enjoy interacting with animals then you definitely do not want to miss Science of Saturday’s on July 18th. This is a one-hour program where you can interact with animals. Children ages three and under are free and regular admission is $5 per person, or $4 for members. - Summer Adventure Camps – A three-day camp specifically for rising fifth through eighth graders. Students will visit various new locations daily and to learn about the geology, history, nature, and wildlife of the area. The camp is from July 20th to 22nd.
