How Do You Get Organized After Christmas?
January 16, 2016
You have just made your New Year’s Resolutions and I am pretty sure that cookies, cake and candy made the list. Send those left over sweets to your office and neighbors.
The New Year is here so now is the time to put your extra baking supplies, pans, platters, etc. If you have one of the homes for sale in Hamilton, GA it is time for you to pack up everything that you don’t need on a daily basis. Make items handy that you use frequently. You also want to rid your kitchen of any holiday themed items and decor. It is funny how as soon as the holidays are over these items and decor feel overwhelming. Ridding your kitchen of these items will help to make it feel new!
Tree and Decorations
Some people like to take our tree and christmas decor down as soon as Christmas is over while others take it down after the new year. Whatever your preference it is a good idea to gather all of your holiday boxes or tubs and label what goes in each one if you haven’t already done so. This will help set and clean up.
Change the sheets and put away the extra blankets, pillows, and guest essentials from your guest room. Before you start to straighten up your guest rooms be sure to make a quick sweep of the room to see if your guests left anything behind.
Add the final dates for returning the toy, clothing and other items that need to be returned. Make a note on those dates of which items you need to return and where. You can add alarms to remind you.
Make a Plan for the New Year
The new year is the time for making new goals. You may be wanting to start working out again, start a meal plan, setting new work goals. You can do this on paper or on your favorite electronic device. There are many apps for your phone and iPad to help you achieve your goals.
