Say, goodbye to the winter blues by brightening up your home with fresh flowers and spring colors. Here are some fun and creative ways to bring a touch of spring indoors.
Tulips are such a spring flower. When you think spring you think tulips. Bring those beautiful flowers inside your home. First purchase or use your existing terra cotta pots and paint them with chalkboard paint. You can use a craft sponge brush or purchase the chalkboard spray paint. Place the tulips in those updated pots. Write cute little sayings or whatever you choose on your “new pots” with chalk. Voila! You have a trendy centerpiece for your kitchen table or a nice display for your mantle.
Collect some branches in your yard or go to your local craft store and purchase some Manzanita branches to arrange in a vase for a lovely spring table centerpiece. Add white paper butterflies to the branches. You can purchase them from your craft store or make some with your children. Add a bowl of spring colored eggs and smaller vases of white flowers to create an inviting vintage white washed spring table.
Use your mantel as a place to showcase your seasonal display! Add a touch of spring to your mantel by using your collection of pitchers and vases. Clear, cream or white colored house ware looks great on a mantel. Fill the pitchers and vases with pastel colored eggs and fresh cut greenery. For an organic touch add a faux bird’s nest.
Make your entryway spring to life with a colorful Easter wreath. Purchase a round or your initial foam, straw or vine wreath at a craft store. Hot glue layers of faux spring branches and moss to your wreath. You can add nests filled with mini-eggs and spring flowers to brighten up your wreath. Get creative!
So get outdoors to come up with some great ideas for your spring décor and while you are out, come and check out the beautiful homes for sale in Midland GA today!
