February 28, 2019
When spring comes to homes in Columbus GA, our thoughts naturally turn to outdoor activities. One of the best ways to get out during the spring is to attend one of the fabulous festivals in the area. They offer an invigorating mix of food, music and fun to help you celebrate the new season with style!
Fountain City Mardi Gras

March 9
The day starts with a 5K run/walk through the historic Liberty District. Throughout the day visitors can enjoy the art gallery, shop at vendor booths and of course dine on tasty treats from an array of food trucks. The highlight of the day is the noon parade featuring Caribbean costumes, bands, floats and more.
Sip & Savor Spring
Callaway Resort & Gardens
Pine Mountain
March 28-31
What could be a more perfect celebration of spring than tasting delicious food and beverages amid the beautiful flowers and foliage of Callaway Gardens? Every day of the festival features something new, from cooking demonstrations and celebrity chef dinners to the Waffle House Showdown and a jazz brunch. Guests can meet cookbook authors, purchase locally grown produce at the Georgia Grown Market or shop for crafts in the artisan market. Special festival events include the James Beard Foundation Dinner and Sip & Savor on the Lake.
State Banana Pudding Festival

Vendor booths offer a break for those too stuffed to eat another bite.
